This painting was done from a nest that was gifted to me by a friend. It has a bit of white plastic bag tucked into it, but what excited me was the little bit of silver metallic strand that was at the top. It was woven in and just a touch of the silver was showing. It's difficult to see in a photograph but I used silver leaf to represent that strand.
